Brentwood Village Festivus - December 3!
It's hard to believe that the holiday season has once again arrived. And an always-enjoyable event for the entire family is Brentwood Village's annual Festivus celebration. The entire Brentwood Village is transformed into a holiday wonderland The Village trees are colorfully lit up, the Brentwood Village parking lot is filled with booths with great taste treats, a petting zoo, and live music. Throughout the Village shopping center there will be entertainment, food, carolers, kettle corn, pet adoptions, a Christmas tree and special sales by the merchants.
Of course Santa Claus will be the guest of honor -- to the delight of youngsters, who are happy to remind the old fella how good they were all year. After taking a photo on Santa's lap the kids will hurry to the petting zoo or to a pony ride, or to get their faces painted - there's so much to see and do at Brentwood Village Festivus!
Free Festivus Raffle!
To make Festivus even more exciting, we will be having a free raffle featuring prizes which are at the top of just about everyone's holiday wish-list: An Ipad, Ipod and a Nano, plus additional prizes contributed by the merchants. The prizes will be awarded at the end of the event, with Santa handing out the goodies.
Archer School for Girls Joins Festivus!
This year, we are pleased to announce, Archer School for Girls will be a big part of the celebration. They will will head the hospitality table, have a crafts booth, and treat everyone to a concert by the Archer School A Capella singers. We appreciate Archer's help and welcome the opportunity for Festivus visitors to see first-hand the community spirit that Archer School encourages in their students.
It all takes place Saturday December 3rd from 11am to 3 pm. So write it on your calendar, add it to your Facebook page and don't forget to tweet it -- because this year Festivus will be bigger and better than ever!
