Laura Trope opened Lakal Jewelry in 1994. Lakal's pieces have been worn at many high profile events including movie premiers and the Academy Awards. In 1998 Lakal Jewelry was honored to earn status as a member of the American Gem Society.* In addition to being an AGS member, Lakal Jewelry is proud to be included as a member of the GIA Alumni Association, The 24KT Club of Southern California, The American Society of Appraiser and The Women’s Jewelry Association.
